Lance Armstrong is taking on an interstellar challenge in the new series Stars on Mars, which aired Monday, June 5. Alongside 11 other celebrities, Armstrong is embarking on a 24-day “mission” to prove he has what it takes to survive on the red planet. The stakes are high in this extreme (man-made) environment, with the last celebrity standing being crowned “The Brightest Star in the Galaxy.” The celebrities will have to tackle a multitude of challenges such as growing their own food, staying active in low gravity, and being ready for emergencies at a moment’s notice. It’s an exciting concept that will test the endurance and resilience of these stars. Who will win the title of the ultimate space survivalist? Only time will tell.
