Tim Decker is a nationally touring artist who paints celebrity and patriotic portraits live in front of a crowd.
Each painting takes roughly 4-7 minutes and the whole experience is set to music.
He performs at corporate and charity events across the entire country.
Tim grew up in Brodheadsville, a small town in Eastern Pennsylvania and studied Media Communications at East Stroudsburg University.
He got his start performing at smaller festivals and from there has booked gigs across the entire United States. He is now performing for some of the top companies, celebrities and charities in the country.
There are very few individuals who speed paint professionally and Tim Decker has managed to develop his own unique style that focuses on making the most of negative space. His high energy show combines music, art, humor and audience participation, to create a performance that event-goers will talk about long after viewing. Tim is highly sought after for events which can be seen by his busy performance schedule. He is definitely causing a stir in both the worlds of fine art and performance art for his unique and modern take on public figures of today and yesterday!

Then in 2009, he woke one morning after having a dream that would change the course of his life. Tim dreamed that he was speed painting on a beach boardwalk, though he had never heard of speed painting up until that point. He woke that morning, bought a gallon of paint, and painted his first portrait…none other than Mr. T! Thus began his journey…
It was something that came naturally, as if it was what he was meant to do. Tim picked up two brushes, one in each hand, and began painting with them at the same time. It took no time to adjust – it was as if he had been painting his entire life. He quickly realized this was his passion and hasn’t put the brushes down ever since.
