We will cover three primary areas in this session. We begin by debunking myths about BD and “sales” and what it takes to be successful, and introducing the mindset shift from being a “seller” to helping someone buy through being strategically helpful and authentic.
We have participants complete a 100 pt. self-assessment to see where they think they are in key areas, and then introduce them to a step-by-step process for managing their opportunities, whatever they might look like.
We will focus on managing your relationship pipeline. We start with reviewing some compelling science regarding what correlates to likeability, and how that can be a tool for helping relationships progress from one end of the spectrum to another.
We introduce 7 distinct levels of relationships, from those people you want to meet but haven’t yet, to those who think you are so awesome that they are out there proactively singing your praises to others without you even knowing it. And we show you how to leverage that science of likeability to stay top of mind and to invest in the most important relationships deliberately and intentionally.
We wrap up with how to manage yourself by creating habits that will allow you to do that with discipline in a world where you’re trying to focus on BD along with delivery work and everything else. that’s keeping you busy.
