Jessica Yellin is the Emmy and Gracie award-winning former Chief White House Correspondent for CNN. She has interviewed Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton, and George HW Bush, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Mrs. Michelle Obama, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and more. Yellin began covering then-Senator Obama during his Iowa campaign in 2008 and in 2012 helmed a documentary on President Obama’s first term. Yellin has covered Capitol Hill, domestic politics, state and national elections, the culture wars, and issues facing women in the workplace. Her work has been published in The New York Times, The Daily Beast, Details, Entertainment Weekly, and The Los Angeles Times.
She is Entrepreneur in Residence at AlphaEdison, a Los Angeles-based VC fund focused on technology-based innovation, and serves as a fellow at the USC Annenberg Center on Communication Leadership and Policy and as a Distinguished Visiting Fellow at the Pacific Council on International Policy. She sits on the Center for Public Integrity Board of Directors and works with women’s groups on issues of media and diversity. She is a graduate of Harvard University and the Westlake School for Girls in Los Angeles, California.
