Dr. Candace Steele Flippin is Senior Vice President and Chief Communications Officer at Acuity Brands, a leading industrial technology company based in Atlanta, GA. She is a member of the executive leadership team and leads all aspects of Acuity Brands’ global communications strategy, including corporate communications, media relations, reputation, and brand management.
Since 2016, Dr. Steele Flippin has been a Research Fellow at the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. As an engaged scholar, Dr. Steele Flippin is the author of Generation Z in the Workplace and Millennials in the Workplace. She is currently working on her third book based on her TEDx Memphis Talk, What Women Really Want… at Work.

Dr. Candace Steele Flippin serves on the board of directors of Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation and the Advisory Board of CulTRUE. She is a member of the Arthur Page Society and The Seminar. She earned her Doctor of Management from Case Western Reserve University, an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, and her BA from the University of Michigan. She also holds an Accreditation in Public Relations.
