The media can create this false idea that success comes much more easily to others. We see the headlines and celebratory LinkedIn posts but we don’t see the struggles it took to earn that success.

Successful people don’t have superpowers, they work hard and believe in themselves.

“When somebody does something perceived as great, it’s almost written off because they’re assumed to be gifted,” says James Lawrence, top motivational speaker, endurance world record holder, and triathlete. 

With enough belief and conviction, no goal is too big.

“People see the headline and they forget about the journey that it took to make that headline” says James. 

Repeatedly mocked for choosing a goal so big, Lawrence undertook the challenge of doing 50 Ironman races, in 50 consecutive days, through all 50 US States. Then, In 2021, James re-defined impossible again with the Conquer 100: completing a full-distance triathlon for 100 consecutive days, logging 140.6 miles a day, for 14 weeks, totaling 14,060 miles. 

James is always going the extra mile– the day after his Conquer 100 victory, he shocked everyone by completing one more full-distance triathlon for a total of 101.

After overcoming his own limiting beliefs, James wanted to help people believe in themselves again, too. James intends for his audiences to leave with belief, conviction, and permission to dream again.
