Netflix co-founder and BigSpeak speaker Mitch Lowe was recently featured in a EuroNews article about the future of the entertainment industry. COVID-19 has impacted all facets of life, but the entertainment industry has been hit harder than most. Lowe argues that movie theaters are going to have to completely innovate their business models. Between consumers’ shortening attention spans and social distancing guidelines, the movie industry is in for a shakeup.

Lowe also speaks about his new event: Pitch Up in the Sky. He is a judge on this event where contestants make start-up pitches on an airplane ascending for a skydive. The event is aiming to be the highest-streamed start-up event in history and is partnered with the popular app Tik Tok.
