BigSpeak exclusive keynote speaker Mitch Lowe was recently featured on The Readback podcast by Barron’s. Lowe offers his insights on the lessons that the movie industry can learn from Movie Pass. During the time of COVID-19, nothing could have been done to keep the theaters open, but Lowe argues that a fresh wave of innovation will reinvigorate the industry.

Lowe’s company Movie Pass gave customers a monthly subscription to see unlimited movies in theaters. Though financially unviable, Lowe argues that the movie industry can learn from Movie Pass’ mistakes and inspire customer loyalty amidst the pandemic.
