As they salute their picks for the 2023 TIME100 Pioneers, Time looked back at their previous Pioneers in a video featuring change-making scientist Gregory Robinson alongside other past nominees Ibram X Kendi, Candace Parker, Massimo Bottura, Sandra Oh, Frances Haugen, and Billie Eilish.

Robinson was Robinson was named one of TIME Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People of 2022 in recognition for his work with the James Webb Space Telescope, a miracle of engineering that over 10,000 people have worked on and is 100 times more powerful that the Hubble Space Telescope.
