The Fortune 1000 list is an annual list of the largest companies in the United States. For another year running, BigSpeak coordinated events for 72% of the Fortune 1000. A good majority of the United States’ largest companies have trusted BigSpeak for their keynote speaker needs. So should you!

NPS Score and Repeat Customers

Not only does BigSpeak work with hundreds of companies; they come back time and time again. In 2021, 71% of clients were repeat customers. Additionally, BigSpeak received an 82 Net Promotor Score (NPS). The NPS is an index ranging from -100 to 100 that measures the willingness of customers to recommend a company’s products or services to others. In other words, clients love working with BigSpeak! 

Female Dominated Company

BigSpeak values each and every one of its employees but is dominated by its rockstar women! In 2021, BigSpeak employees are 75% female including eight women in leadership roles. 

Diversity

2021 was a huge year for BigSpeak’s diverse speakers as  65% of all bookings were made up of diverse populations. DE&I is proven to strengthen your workforce and improve relations with diverse customer bases, with organizations benefiting from different insights offered by diverse team members. Total Bookings 

In BigSpeak’s 26 years of service, the team has coordinated over 9800 events, with over 6 million people attending these events both virtually and in person. In a bounce-back year, BigSpeak booked over 350 more events than 2020. We are grateful for our clients and our wonderful team members that allowed these events to happen!

Virtual vs. In-Person Events

We are so excited to have in-person events back in the mix! If COVID-19 has taught us anything, people, organizations, and industries need to adapt to succeed. The speaking industry is no different. In 2020, companies were forced to pivot in a variety of ways. Working from home and virtual meetings became the norm, and have carried over to 2021. This year, out of all BigSpeak bookings, 78% were virtual, while in-person events roared back with 22% of the total share. 

Top 5 Event Cities 

BigSpeak had the pleasure of coordinating events all over the world in 2021. The top 5 cities for event booking this year were San Francisco, Las Vegas, New York City, and Orlando.  

Top 10 Speakers 

Organizations love BigSpeak speakers. The top booked speakers of 2021 include Matthew Luhn (the former Pixar Story Artist) and Omar Johnson (Former CMO of Beats by Dre) among others. Author and inspiration for the film Molly’s Game, Molly Bloom joins top emotional intelligence expert Dr. JP Pawliw-Fry on the list. The master of Atomic Habits, James Clear, repeats as a top audience choice. Netflix co-founder Marc Randolph and rejection expert Jia Jiang continued to dazzle audiences in 2021. And last but certainly not least, Shark Tank’s “Mr. Wonderful” Kevin O’Leary and leading future of work expert Heather McGowan round out the top 10.

Top 5 Keynote Topics 

BigSpeak has hundreds of expert speakers that cover nearly every topic imaginable. The most popular topics for clients in 2021 were storytelling, leadership & change, habits, DE&I and Culture, and innovation and business. 

Top Industries Served 

Education, technology, associations, media, and healthcare were the top industries booked by BigSpeak this year. Research shows that companies who bring in motivational speakers, see a correlated boost in employee engagement and morale.
